With the high demands of work and family that most of us experience, it's important that we take care of our individual mental and physical health. Whether it is a weekend in the mountains, a spa-retreat, or just good ole outdoor fun - we wanted to share with you a few of our favorite spots West of Denver that are special go-to places to visit.

Estes Park  - Considered to be the base camp for the Rocky Mountain National Park, this is one place to visit for non-stop exploring and adventure. Estes Park has unlimited activities to create the perfect escape from the everyday demands of life and work.  And if you love hiking and camping, venture into the Rocky Mountain National Park and check out the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa - just a few hours away from Denver in Vail Village, this spa is well known for its massages, facials, and acupuncture.  Not only does is it a place to rejuvenate and relax, it offers an array of shops and restaurants within a village filled with cobblestone streets. There is nothing missing from this magical place - it's a perfect getaway for couples and families.

Glenwood Hot Springs Resort - considered the world’s largest mineral hot springs pool. Soaking in these waters are sure to remedy any stress.  You will want to arrive early because admission to the pool is on a first-come first-serve basis. And did you know that the Glenwood Hot Springs pool is one of the hottest in Colorado?  Depending on the time of year you visit, the resort also has a "Sopris Splash Zone" for kids.

These are just a few places, but no matter what your mind and body may need to rejuvenate, Colorado has an unlimited amount of places to visit.  Whether you love an indoor spa treatment, or love the adventures of being outdoors for a hike or bike ride, there is no better place to soak up some of Colorado's beauty and nature.

Cheers to optimal health!
